They lose attraction from seeing it, which is the most important thing you need them to have for you. Sure, women will say they want a more emotionally sharing man, because that's the socially acceptable answer, but in reality, that's not what they desire. They want a protector, not a cry buddy.

The absolute opposite. Love and respect to someone, especially a man, that can connect with their emotions and allow themselves to feel. Happy tears, sad tears, emotional tears altogether.

I think the only exception for me is when I've experienced manipulative crying, but even then I didn't lose respect.

On the other hand, I lose respect for women who can't tolerate or see weakness in a man crying 😂

i would think less of someone who looked down on someone for crying 😾

I feel like we do naturally gravitate toward a certain elemental type. I love astrology, and I do feel that for me… I carry a lot of air in my chart, a lot of water too, and much less earth. And yet, earth feels like my North Star.

Being around more earthy people, Kapha types in Ayurveda, for example, can feel grounding to me simply through their presence and way of being.

So there’s the native elements within us… our chart, dosha, constitution… and then there are the external factors constantly interacting with that - climate, season, stress, technology.

A simple example for me is coffee in peak summer heat. It pushes so much fire into my liver that all of a sudden it's 100 degrees outside, I just had coffee and I notice I am just raging, and even cold raw milk barely cools it. Same body, same substance… different conditions, totally different effect.

So balance isn’t static or evenly distributed. It’s something we’re always participating in. We can consciously rebalance by working with the elements directly, like taking a shower, dipping in a lake, sitting by a fire, choosing spicy versus cooling foods, breath work. Small, literal interactions… could bring big shifts.

Well, I had some invoices being delayed on me (not life-threatening, but definitely a hard bummer, especially in December, where gigs are sparse in my line of work), been coming to terms with my fantasy and real life not exactly having fitting knobs and notches. So when my paid relay expired it didn't feel like posting for a while.

But I missed the little bits of interactions from here, although it seemed that my network had grown a little bit quieter too. And my bookmark folder with links and ideas to enrich my swamp became too big to list on one screen, so I decided that this time I won't let it sit with other activities in my deep, deep 'preparing to do something' bin and start to actually clear that :)
