I've been looking for a FOSS, cross-platform ereader that could enable me to migrate away from Kindle. So far, I'm loving Readest.

For example I couldn't find "the hobbit" in Spanish but Claude works beautifully to translate it in style to "simple Chilean Spanish for 8yo" but I'd need to translate few pages at a time ...

The ebook reader could retain the original language for reference.

They have deepl integration already which I think cannot provide the full translation for simple language for a child for example.
