Sometimes I’ll pay with cash just to watch the millennials working the cash register struggle with math and counting coins. 😁

Honestly, if a place doesn't accept Bitcoin, cash is best. Privacy. Also, small businesses get to keep more of it instead of a percentage being taken by a evil multinational corporation.
It’s wild. I know the optimal coin combination for 1-99 cents and these kids have to sit there and count with their fingers
They don’t just count. Sometimes they need to read the denominations on the coins.
You should always pay with cash. It's the #1 thing we can do to stop CBDCs.
Paying with USD cash seems to have poor mimetic scalability... I'm more bullish on Nostr-enabled two-sided-marketplaces bringing about an alternative circular economy before the fiat money has a chance to become even more fake.

Give them exact change only to get bills back. They’ll look at you like you just committed a crime
LOL. That blows their mind. Frozen for a full minute usually.
I handed £20.00 cash yesterday for an adapter at £14.99 in Currys. Was asked if I was ok having just £5.00 change as they didn’t have 1p. Usually I would say yep but I since bitcoin this shady fiat behaviour made for an uncomfortable few minutes 😂
As a millennial I’ve started to notice this as well. The worst part is their attitude like they are above understanding basic math 😂
😂
Honestly! I watched my mom pay a cashier $21.50 on $16.50 tab to get a $5 back and they couldn’t handle it.

The key is to count up from the amount owed to the amount paid, starting with the smallest denominations, adding the change until the amount owed plus the change is equal to the amount paid. So for example, if $3.67 was charged, and paid for with a $5 bill, 3 cents out of the register would get you to $3.70, a nickel gets you to $3.75, a quarter to $4, and a dollar bill gets you to $5. That is what this millennial learned working summers at an ice cream shop in my high school years. I didn’t even look at the register to see how much was owed.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yer its outa control, when they key it up automatically and say just tap here, I get my 100 dollar note and tap the terminal all the while saying, your terminal seems to be down. Confusion reigns
Inner sadist 🤡
Excellent. I sometimes add the cents portion to receive a whole note in change. It freaks them out 😂 Then I suggest “I could give you lightning ⚡️”.
