Looks like a game of hide and seek, and I give up

That link should take you to the Monero Town instance and in that post there's a this page link and you click on that and it takes you to github actions. Click on the most recent one and scroll down and you will see the zip files for the installers for Mac OS Windows and Ubuntu.
Here, I will make it even easier.

I see this at the URL you provided. No link to file here.

You haven't scrolled down far enough.
If you aren't logged into Github, they don't show up as download links (for most people, as a Github policy).
Here's a proxy that does allow the Haveno files to be downloaded:

Got it. My phone browser hides the scrollbar and there is a nested scrollbar so when I scroll the nested scrollbar it just keeps scrolling without scrolling the outer scrollbar implying it's at the bottom of the page and nothing more to see. If I tap and scroll from the upper section where there isn't a nested scrollbar then the page actually scrolls down revealing the remaining contents of the page.
But the contents below do not provide a download link. Nothing is downloadable.

You have to be signed in to a GitHub account or somebody posted a proxy link that you could use to download it as well.
So I need to trust in order to use the software. No thanks

Github is making it difficult for you. They only allow access to these generated downloads if you are logged in.
However, there's a work around with a service that acts as a proxy for those who do not want a Github account. Here's the direct link to the Haveno downloads:

This will change and no longer be valid when a new version is released. So link may only be good for today.

I like and use self-hosted gitea. Highly recommend!
This is for a project that is only released on Github (that I am aware of).
