I’m a hip flexor exercise maxi now.
Realized how much more core work I need to be doing to offset how much I sit and type.

I don't know if it's any help but I just made this super good exercising song. Well it's more about Lebanon really but music's what you make it...
Me, too. Required for people who sit in front of a computer all day. I’m also working with stretch bands to relieve an impinged shoulder. Getting older requires proof of work to keep healthy and in shape.
I’m a sleep maxi now.

Lyn I do 250 sit ups and leg lifts per day. I barely could do 10 when I first started due to weak core.
Yes, muscle training can improve. Shoulder, back, hip and leg core muscle training is especially suitable for people who sit for a long time. Muscle is the most difficult to grow, but it is the most protective of bones and the most difficult to lose.
Muscle exercises in these three areas are aimed at cervical spondylosis and lumbar spondylosis respectively.
nostr:npub1a2cww4kn9wqte4ry70vyfwqyqvpswksna27rtxd8vty6c74era8sdcw83a 😱 the physiological effects of sitting is the new smoking! How do you feel about standing desks? You and your signal are vital to the entire #Bitcoin community.
Good on you. It’s all about side bridge for me.
I just realized this in last 6 months. It's a long road ahead...
Might want to release the psoas too (e.g. with strain/counterstrain technique)
Doing romanian deadlifts regularly cured all of my hip flexor and hamstring issues from being a developer. Life changing exercise for me.
💯
Only exercises you will ever need are: squats, deadlifts, presses, bench presses and chin ups.
I've found going into a standing straddle forward fold and then doing reps in that position with no weight to be great for lower back pain from sitting too long. Go to the point stretch wise where you can lift with no use of your hands. 20 reps when you wake up to start the day. Gets both stretching and strengthening.
Yasss Psoas for the win
Just be a total body/every muscle maxi 💪🏼. Keep moving. Stay healthy, stack sats.
Amen. Hate that I sit for work.
I've been doing these for awhile and they help.
