Everyone should run a node. Everyone should acquire as much Bitcoin as they prudently can. And everyone should use their node to independently verify what they accept as valid.
A node doesn't define Bitcoin for others it defines Bitcoin for you. That’s the whole point.

This one is a tough one. Obviously we are all out there trying to teach people what bitcoin is, so then how can we define it ourselves if we don't know what it is.
I think it's a little more nuanced.
Everyone should think deeply about what type of bitcoin is the most saleable. The most compatible with the most number of people in your mind. And everyone should consider the personal cost of using one that excludes anyone regardless of your feelings in the context of your influence against the rest of the world.
Then they should run a node or defer to someone they trust and align with.
