This is worse than proto shitcoin. And people across the country are cheering for it. Total madness! We are on the road to serfdom, sadly.
Being in Thailand for over a month I can understand why such a plan is being proposed without much citizen uprising. Thai people are extremely kind but on the opposite end of that do not like getting involved in confrontation and try to maintain peace as much as possible. And well governments take advantage of everything they can, even the people's kind heartedness.
With that being said, I hope the Thai people wake up to this ridiculousness and embrace Bitcoin because I think Thailand has great potential in being the first Southeast Asian country to adopt the Bitcoin standard.
