GM! anyone knows what's going on on Lightning Network? There have been a drop in the number of nodes and channels lately.

Also, It seems to me that there are more force closing than usual 🤔

Maybe low fees on-chain for managing channels cheaper?

I for one have been opening some channels when fees are the lowest.

Looking at Amboss.space. It seems there was a relatively huge group galled LNBIG.com who closed multiple large sized nodes.

River also were closing big channels as well.

This probably channel management since the fees has gotten somewhat low in the past week.

And bond rates are rising... it's very expensive now to run big nodes.

What about all the force closes? I haven't made any actual count, but it appears to me that are more than usual (and they're not from LNbig or River)

Yes, lnbig also closed channels to my node. They kind of consolidate their nodes to less.
