GM, Nostr. I've been sick over the last few days. Downside of travel, I suppose. And my 5 year-old kid has been going through something for a month or so that has her fighting us on everything at all hours. Loudly and often violently. It has been bad lately, but we've dealt with similar stretches over the years. We're working on it with an occupational therapist (coping skills, activities, parental response, etc), but we are at an utter loss. My poor wife ends up taking the brunt of it and it is taking its toll on our family/home life.

The whole thing has me too tired and preoccupied to focus on anything work-related at all and I'm sure my managers have noticed. Here's to hoping I don't end up getting fired before we move on from being "pre-rich."
