Responding to this because I saw the post without draft approval briefly before it went away.
So, I've had my head in work. Should I be connected to 970 relays on Amethyst? #asknostr
One of my least favorite expenses. A lot of money, no perceived benefit. Of course the real benefit is continuing to have reliable transportation, but still...
This would be difficult with the B.S. anti raw milk laws in most states and federally across state lines.
"Sats" isn't a technical term. It's a relatively widely name for smaller dinominations of bitcoin in homage of the creator(s). There are a lot of bitcoiners who have minimal technical skills (myself included) who understand this at face value without more than a glance.
This is dumb. Dollars, cents, etc. It's all been said. Sats are the standard.
Who dis?
I went for dine-in today and paid with Sats.
The way I see it, comparing it to regular restaurants isn't quite fair. But compared to other fast food and drive through options, I think the quality is great. Also, since it is a franchise, quality may vary widely from one to the next.
All that said, it was pretty sweet opening up nostr:npub1xnf02f60r9v0e5kty33a404dm79zr7z2eepyrk5gsq3m7pwvsz2sazlpr5 to pay for a meal with my family.
Got lunch and milkshakes today!

I won't win because of work, but I'll try to record it anyway!
But I agree with the intent. People who get dependant on government aid intended to help them get off of it shouldn't be able to manipulate the system to continue their addiction.

The fact that you don't take reality into account shows me that you only have yourself to consider when making decisions in your life. I (and many others) don't have that option.
Fiat hill? I live in a nice home, in a good neighborhood, and good schools with my family. I'm a Bitcoiner but can't and won't die on a hill at the detriment of my child.
I have to replace my roof soon. They don't take bitcoin. This is a $25k+ (25,787,818 Sat+) job. Do I:
A. Sell my savings to pay it to satisfy the roofer (15% capital gains)
B. Take a loan (interest, but 0% capital gains)?
C. Take a fiat loan (interest)?
D. Wait until a good roofer takes bitcoin as payment (hopefully my roof doesn't leak and cave in)?
I didn't even look at the S9 power usage before responding. That's also a consideration. At the rate BitAxe is moving, I would not be surprised if you could heat your home with the miners for less than Antminer equipment with a better return within a few years.
Registry, not repository. I'm dumb sometimes. But the update is out now.
I'm curious too. Zeus has been working great for me.
