They don’t need one…..they can just use leverage to get the companies to do what they want behind the scenes, without prying eyes.

Well the US is about to get their equivalent act any day now lol.
But yes it's true. It'll be the smaller online operations which will have to fold. Just like the cycling forums and the hamster forum had to close in the UK out of fear of not being able to comply.
Canada’s is coming down the pipes too, with little to no resistance.
It's pretty much gonna be everywhere
Everywhere except for the majority of Africa, majority of Asia, majority of South America, etc.
Like nah western Europe and the white English speaking colonised countries are not everywhere
The UN plan that this is following will be for the whole world, don't worry.
Even then it won't be everywhere and it'll take years.
And the harder they push, whether they use economic sanctions or military threats, that will only make some countries push back harder.
You have a point but I don't think the UN will exist a few years from now.
The past 2 years has shown everyone how useless and corrupt the system is.
Countries are going to start leaving the UN, when a seat at the table doesn't seem to matter anymore.
Every positive the UN try to do USA just vetos it, so they haven't made any progress on anything that matters for a long time.
Only policy supported by USA gets passed.
UN functions as a tool of American imperialism more than anything else.
The wef and the IMF seem to be pushing a lot of this too
It's going to be interesting in December when Australia implements it.
The laws were passed 6 months ago, they're waiting an entire year to implement it though
Yeah, same in the UK. These were passed in 2023. This is the 2nd phase of a 3 phase rollout. More to come in October for the Brits.
About to? No. USA was the first to do this
Already incoming.

Every major Western power has one currently coming. This is all going according to the UN plan.

"Protect the kids, stop the terrorists"
Umm.
Nobody is making the companies do anything.
It was literally Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk who lobbied the Texas state government to create these internet censorship laws.
And UK is only copying what's already been implemented in Texas.
