I have said for a long time that govts are mafias hiding behind a religious structure, made more powerful by the fact that no one sees it as a religion. And they manufacture large external boogeymen in order to create the appearance of some problem that only govt can fight.
Terrorism to manipulate the right & climate alarmism to manipulate the left. And the climate stuff has strong orignial sin vibes. Not only is there a danger from the weather, but you caused it with your "greedy desires" for food & energy & other basic needs. So "good citizens" will deprive themselves or be happy to accept economic condictions that lead to deprivation.
