Thanks for having me on, Juan!

Disagree with the premise: Privacy is a right, not a weapon.

I appreciate the passion behind protecting the ability of individuals to have privacy, but it’s not a right, so don’t argue for privacy rights from a faulty premise that it just “is”. Argue why it should BE a protected thing.

This is why the second part of the statement falls short: The taking away of privacy can and will be used as a “weapon” because those with power to do so can indeed take away that thing from you. They can’t take your soul, they can’t take your beliefs, and they can’t take your mind; they can take your freedom, privacy, movement, and even life because those things are not inherent to YOU. They are things protected by law, but evildoers can and do love to take those things from us, which is why we have to fight for them in the first place.

You can easily take it back following what nostr:nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7ct4w35zumn0wd68yvfwvdhk6qgkwaehxw309aex2mrp0yhrq7rrdpshgtnrdaksqgpm0lyzxcglrt4w5clw80mfkfdc4gtwcm5p6xhu8ypxsz87r9p4fufjf3zv recommends. I've been doing this for a short while, and it's been working for me alright.

I started that way back when in 2020, though.
