Yes it is, but that math doesn’t math. If 30 of the 60 interviewees buy a drink that ends up being $10 per person. Plus the electric and licensing fees not to mention the product itself.

It isnt really passive if you are stocking the machine, sourcing the drinks, emptying change, responding to broken/unplugged/etc. machines much.
Had 2 of them myself maybe 15 years ago, and I could stock easily since they were at my job. Made a couple hundred a month each, but it was also time involved. NOT really passive 😉
Even if half buy a drink (30?), he is saying he makes $10 per sale=$300...? I call BS on his story. He might make $15-20 a day... Unless those are mixed drinks in a bar 😂
Maybe the vending machine is fake and just eats the money everytime 🤔💭
