To play stuff at 1x speed is a great sign of respect. To rewind and take notes is hermit levels nowadays.

I get this, but some podcasts just speak too slow when you're only seeking the information 😅 I used to be a 1x speed maxi out of respect, now I am 1.5-2x speed on informational podcasts and 1x speed on the more spiritual/philosophical ones.
1.5 - 2X if I want to consume information
1X if I want to feel their frequency
