Brave is the same shit operated from a different gang and based on chromium. Even ungoogled chromium is built in such a way that cannot offer some privacy standards that firefox offered for example.
Tor... i don't trust something funded by USA government which uses an old USA navy cryptography. If they could not decrypt, they would not release it to the public. It might be very good for circumventing chinese government restrictions or so, but i consider it like plain text or so for agencies from USA.
