What makes me laugh is thinking that anyone can determine how large the Bitcoin circular economy is.
You're right though, going from buying bitcoin with fiat to earning & spending Bitcoin is not a fast transition. It takes time. As you say, not all goods/services are worthy of a little absolute scarcity.
Bitcoin also does a weird dance to it's holders. Understanding the absolute scarcity that this stuff represents is a stark contrast to the abundance this stuff promises to deliver. To hold absolute scarcity while also holding a mindset of abundance is a mild head fuck.
How do we use this stuff to create abundance? Ultimately we should each do what we feel drawn to creating without consideration of how or if it will be remunerated. Create & give freely without expectation or conditions. See what happens. I believe that this results in a cascade of positive sum activity. Reputation is used to reject & discourage mooching.
At the end of the day, you don't need to do anything for Bitcoin to succeed. It will succeed despite you. I personally want to see where this thing goes & I have lofty hopes & dreams.
