I can explain that one somewhat, if your theory is true: nature has redundant self-correcting systems we don't even know about.
I could ramble on and on about how many systems exist in nature and social science that create negative feedback loops to bring things back to stasis. I won't imply it was designed, but it's hard to believe there's zero overhead management of this thing we call "existence".

Hurricane season is about a month away. I'm betting that this high pressure system is going to widen and sit there until December just has it has done for the last 18 years.
