I think we would need to identify a revenue stream within the Bitcoin system, and then just choose to do it. It wouldn't be difficult once the choice was made.

Nah. You fund it now and distribute forever.

If municipal governments put Bitcoin miners in the budget that automatically distributed the Bitcoin generated by the rigs to their population, that would count as UBI. Just need to come up with the contracts.

Easy. The state if you believe in the state. The people that fund it if you don't believe in the state.

Distribution is the easy part: cut it by half every time purchasing power doubles.

Two groups that typically don’t talk to each other: bitcoiners and UBI’ers 😂

BUT there are many ways. I would propose allocating funding to UBI initiatives and removing funding from ineffective and poverty-cycle promoting government programs.

Also state and local UBI initiatives work well depending on region. Some states and locals have budget surpluses to accommodate. Others could balance.

Giving agency and choice to people is far better than dictating and ineffective bureaucratic programs. And I know, coming from a largely federally funded nonprofit.

Interesting idea. Would love to discuss this further
