Marie is one of the first users of Nostr. Sophisticated, well educated, well adapted, high-middle class, australian lady.

She picked a fight with Nemesis, who, as the name says, is the literal opposite of her. Your typical foul-mouthed, free speech extremist, american schizo truther (whom I identify the most with).

It's in the freaking name! Nemesis! How could I not see it??

This can't be a coincidence. This is some sort of lesson to be learned. Two extremes, like two poles of a battery making some sparks and starting a fire.

I believe that the lesson to be learned is that free speech is sacred (including that of the foul-mouthed schizo truthers), but also a nice welcoming, gratefulness vibe must be maintained with sustained effort, every day of our Nostr lives.

And both of them forgot about the mute button. Both of them forgot about deescalating and giving Time the opportunity to clarify the issues. This is something VERY IMPORTANT to learn, this is the lesson.

I have to admit that I've sinned too in this regard lately. Apologies won't fix it, but sure as the fact that I am an inventor, I will try to become better at deescalating and taking time to breathe and let the dust settle.
