I’ve had to make that hard decision. I knew it was time and couldn’t let him suffer the pain anymore. Hurts to this day and it’s been 6 years.
Hey nostr, its the end of another beautiful day. We went out on the Gator this evening to see if we could still find those dogs that scared me this morning, but didnt see them. Hopefully they moved on. On another note, my husband mentioned that he might need to put down our old dog Lou. He can barely get around anymore, is mostly deaf, and seems to be in pain. I hate the thought of putting him down, but i know the day might come soon. Our pets become part of the family, and we love them so much. Anyway, yall have a good evening nostr friends. Stay happy, healthy, and free. #grownostr #Lou #homesteading https://nostrcheck.me/media/8d9d2b77930ee54ec3e46faf774ddd041dbb4e4aa35ad47c025884a286dd65fa/b4527669fa3c7f2e7c69cce71b8dfca9118543aa66d78617643f585054d5a1e8.webp

Not easy. Had to do that 4 years ago during Covid. Kids had to say goodbye and only one person (me) was allowed at the vet. I’ve endured real conflict, but that was no easy day.
Mine hated the vet so I took care of it myself. Figured I owed him that much. He got me through some hard times. They are definitely here for a purpose.
