Yes, but not in nostr/foss, where you can move freely if someone who is providing you convenience is trying to enslave you. For example, I can go to the btcpayserver demo instance and use it for convenience, they can rug me or delete my account, but you can go to another instance or run it by yourself. 🤷‍♂️
