Even when the world will be on a bitcoin standard, 99 % of people will still be choosing convenience, instead of taking control of their asset, due to additinal effort needed to understand it.

Nothing wrong to choose convenience if the act itself is not against morality or principles. Problem is when people choose the convenient easy path with no morality at all. That's the source of all conflict.

Yes, but not in nostr/foss, where you can move freely if someone who is providing you convenience is trying to enslave you. For example, I can go to the btcpayserver demo instance and use it for convenience, they can rug me or delete my account, but you can go to another instance or run it by yourself. 🤷♂️
