The Web of Trust has failed. The person running the reply bots has adapted and is actually fairly smart in avoiding the spam detectors. The reply bot programmer is smart.

Can you imagine this on a greater scale if nostr had billions of users? The relay administrators would either me extremely busy or not bother cleaning the spam.

This fight against spam is extremely interesting. I hope it continues. It's preparing Nostr to be ready to handle billions of users.
