Yeah but they are not good for rational or revolution

They were placed in a compliant state so the movement could be hijacked by the revolutionaries statists we have in Power today

Maybe during a trip but in my experience it can be a powerful mind opening experience afterwards. Reality is not as rigid as we thought. Existing assumptions need to be tested. These things tend to push you away from herd mentality.
