i had to try out the Walmart OnePay app to see if Bitcoin was really in there.
It's there. they even gave me 5$ of bitcoin as a sign in bonus.
they only have Bitcoin and E***um which seems like a great start.
unfortunately it's just "Buy/Sell" and no "Send/Receive" --yet. i'm sure if they realize people want a lightning wallet too it will happen.
it looks like they don't charge a fee and maybe ~0.4% spread
the margin is going to be compressed, but lightning already beats all existing systems for fee per service. it's cheaper. has security and stuff...
yeah, i think i will continue buying BitRefill gift cards with lightning. maybe eventually Walmart will just integrate lightning into the App.
they already have the lightning symbol front and center in their promotional materials
