H - "Mommy, can I fill my candy dish up with these?" (Mini candy canes)

K - rolls eyes at her

H - excitedly says "thank you"

K - "uhm, I never said yes"

H - "but, you rolled your eyes at me, which means you don't want me to, but you're going to say yes"
