I watched most of You Are What You Eat on Nexflix, skipping some episodes because there's a lot of agenda & trite. (no different than every other nutritional show on there) It compared plant-based to omnivorous diets in identical twins. The only thing that seemed worthwhile knowledge to be gained from it was that 8 weeks on plant-based resulted in a loss of viceral fat across all participants & omnivorous resulted in muscle gain across the range as well. All the other results had no consistency.

Just to be clear, I'm not advocating for anything here... just sharing a recap for anyone who's debating on watching it... save your time. If you are looking for dietary advice, netflix is not the place to find it 😅

We watched the first two episodes and the agenda was blatant. Classic bait and switch. Here's an interesting premise, now become a vegan. How about a keto/carnivore diet in the trial as well?

I would love to see a plant vs animal twin study summed up in a documentary. Doubtful it would ever come to be, but maybe there's some studies that can feed my curiosity. I haven't looked around yet.

If you skip to the last episode, you can see the results & some heat scans of aroused genitals if you're into that kind of thing. 🤷‍♀️😂

It did get a bit pervy for awhile in one of the first two. I thought maybe this could get interesting. Nope, still vegan.

😂😆
