The price of #Bitcoin doesn't bother me much; I'm convinced of its value and that its price in fiat currency doesn't represent it

It is indeed reassuring to know you understand that Bitcoin's intrinsic value far transcends any momentary fiat price. Its true measure lies in its decentralised design and the freedom it offers, independent of external valuation.

Look forward to the day when everything is priced in sats everywhere.

Step by step, fiat has no bottom and government love the print machine

Is Bitcoin a good investment now or are you speaking as someone that has already invested?

As a store of value, it's always going to be a good time to exchange your fiat currency for Bitcoin

it's not an "investment", it's an exit

An exit from?

"investment" is defined in and trapped in the current system. Bitcoin is a singularity in the current system where time and energy that is put past the event horizon becomes undefined from the perspective of the current system while arriving as fundamental particles to build the alternative system.

it's a magic trick, not an investment.

That is a lot.

I'll have to come back to finish reading it.

you might enjoy watching some of jeff booth's interviews. plenty on youtube. you won't find talk of usd price from him.

but to answer your original question more reasonably... yes, i think buying bitcoin now and in the future (and not selling it) is a good financial decision for a very long-term horizon.

Slavery

It’s money, exchange your fiat for it and spend wisely. Investment as you are saying is not what bitcoin was made for, this is fiat mind thinking “how much shit fiat will I have in the future if I buy bitcoin now?”
