I agree but to say only Americans actually attempt to live this way in not accurate. Been all over the world recently and have found many folks of different walks of life doing this same thing, think it’s just a matter of perspective. All countries have sheep following the heard, but they also have a few black sheep like us too 🤷♂️✊✌️🤝

Totally agree with you about sheep and black sheep (or orange sheep?) in every country, but I believe HODL’s point was about an ideal/attitude at the foundational level of a country, and in this case, America is truly unique.
I agree but you can’t make a blanket statement about the people of our country that much. We have to be aware that regardless of what the core of America is about (what HODL and you are saying) we have so so many people that are legitimately unaware and just could give zero fucks about true American ideals. It’s part of what makes America, America, not everyone has those core values, but as a country it’s what separates us from the pack.
