One thing to remember in all this, is to take responsibility for your own actions. Don’t expect your government to hold your hand, and or protect you from self harm every step of the way. Learn by your own mistakes, and own them. It’s your own fault if you fumble the ball. Just pick it up and keep going.
Think that is bigger than the “American dream” and this is partly what everyone in the world wishes they could live this way. Idea started way before America was even a country imo 🤷♂️✌️🤝✊

I agree but to say only Americans actually attempt to live this way in not accurate. Been all over the world recently and have found many folks of different walks of life doing this same thing, think it’s just a matter of perspective. All countries have sheep following the heard, but they also have a few black sheep like us too 🤷♂️✊✌️🤝

Totally agree with you about sheep and black sheep (or orange sheep?) in every country, but I believe HODL’s point was about an ideal/attitude at the foundational level of a country, and in this case, America is truly unique.
I agree but you can’t make a blanket statement about the people of our country that much. We have to be aware that regardless of what the core of America is about (what HODL and you are saying) we have so so many people that are legitimately unaware and just could give zero fucks about true American ideals. It’s part of what makes America, America, not everyone has those core values, but as a country it’s what separates us from the pack.
But Bitcoin harms the Central Bankers and the whores of fiat, harms them very badly. So by this relativistic and naive thinking we cannot do Bitcoin because it harms the people that enslave us.
Gotta go stronger than that. We will leave our castles and slay those that threaten us. No everyone has a castle and they're being equally harmed.
