And you know damn well when I said “these aren’t open questions,” I did not mean “cease your investigations, citizen.”
No I didn’t damn well know. When people say there are not open questions, it’s usually to say stop investigating. You should know that.
“My point is that the scientific community collectively agrees that this is not a question of “hey, are these numbers weird?”
The numbers are weird man. Alright, let’s try this. Get me the raw remote satellite sensor data (RSS) for all temperature satellites. Not the calibrated data. Not the temperatures. The raw numerical values. With those values, we can use NOAA weather stations, and run regressions and come up with a formula for the satellite data that gets us close to R=1.
You can’t. You can get NOAA data, but UAH has never released the raw satellite data, or the regressions, and they’ve re-calibrated data to make the temperatures hotter.
They’re calibrated from a very limited number of high end weather stations, even though temperature can vary every 100 meters. They’re using low resolution ground data to calibrate satellite data.
I can’t really go into more because of NDAs, but the data you think exists doesn’t exist. You just don’t know it because you believe everything you read off a news site or in an advert.
Honestly, I’d like access to the data and maybe it would finally prove you’re right. But I can’t.
we can bicker back and forth about it freely, across borders (and oceans, apparently)
Says the person that no one is questioning the numbers when they are. You ever play Final Fantasy VII? Rufus’s father used money and propaganda to control people. After his father died, Rufus said fuck all that an used fear. It’s cheaper. In the western world, people trust CNN/BBC/MSNBC/FOX/DerSpegil/etc. .. all networks bought and paid for by advertisers, some of the largest which are big pharma companies. They are the top results on both Google and DuckDuckGo. All the smaller independent blogs and opinions have been squashed.
The CCP and the US/EU/UK use different means, but the end result is the same.
