My point is that the "protect the children" arugument is winning. I have the same concerns about the true intentions (control).

Therefore, we need technical solutions that enable restricted access for children while maintaining privacy for everyone else.

This could be done with ZK cryptography.

I think all necessary solutions already exist for parents to filter content at their own discretion. Even a simple dns filter. In the end it's only the parents that can know whether or not their children are ready.

Plenty of thirty year old children that are unable to handle social media. It's not logical or possible to make everything illegal so the only other option encourage/incentivize self control.
