Non-coder prospective: I just use DamusiOS all the time and the Home page allows me to just see posts of people I follow which I prefer. I do click the global feed just to check in on the broader topics being discussed - that said - depending on how much you scale, the small set of public relays may be a non starter. I don’t know how spammy things can get though 🕊

This is a good approach, and I cannot recall which Nostrich first stated this, but a feature where you could silence someone you follow for “x” amount of time would help in using the home page. I follow many people that I want to hear from (overall) but often these same people repeat themselves as nauseum and it would be good to turn down that noise without unfollowing them. Perhaps it moves them to another “channel” that I could willingly move to and see all their posts when I choose to
