I think we have the opportunity here, to show how a sats economy will work, and we're missing out on it, by throwing huge sums of money at it, all at once.

We need low time-preference development.

We need front-loaded investment costs.

We need deflationary pricing.

No, the masses of money must flow into it immediately, but it can't because there is some kind of bottleneck. But from the inception of bitcoin it was basically instantaneously the highest form of value, all fiat value should have theoretically instantaneously flown into it, and all people should have dropped everything to study it, buy it and adopt it, but the problem is we didn't know about it, and it would still have to be built to scale with LN, esats, etc. So physically the instantaneous reaction is impossible, but virtually/theoretically it is a step function fact of superiority.

TL;DR: throw all the money you have in lump sum, your whole net worth basically, instantaneously into bitcoin. Mathematically, this is the most correct behavior. But realistically, we are scared, doubt, and are ignorant (don't understand) of #bitcoin. That's why it doesn't happen like that but it should, especially if you finally learn what it means (total scarcity - a no-brainer all in position)

I'm talking about Nostr creators and sw projects.

Lol you got me.

I appreciate your enthusiasm, tho. Truly.

Everyone listen to the man and stack your sats.

My brain filters everything into #bitcoin, even nostr.

😂

We need sat equity, so that people can invest today and reap sat-income later, I think.

It will might never give them real returns, but they therefore allowed for the creation of a new product or service, which is a good work. And they could receive premium services for their troubles.

You only live once and the money you didn't spend gets passed on to people who didn't have to earn it, or its value simply disappears into the timechain.

There is satisfaction in living to see at least some of the sats being spent on something you find worthwhile and long-lasting, or in supporting a good work.

Not everything is about greed.

On what are you gonna spend those 42 zap sats? You could also give them to your grand kids.

1) Many grandkids get nothing or very little because their parents have blown through the inheritance.

2) My children are inheriting other valuable goods, like

- well-maintained real estate in a safe, prime location with good weather,

- a stable food, energy, and water supply,

- a strong, local extended-family structure,

- an active church and community,

- the remainder of my Bitcoin and Lightning wallets (which will make them some of the wealthiest people on the planet and in the region),

- and dividend-paying equity in businesses that can survive hyperbitcoinization.

- Perhaps even equity in Nostr businesses, that other people's children would have to purchase with sats at a time when sats will be impossible to buy.

3) Money isn't everything. My offspring have received a lot of good things from me, that other people's children can never buy. They are already rich. They can work for more, if they want more.

4) I do not exist solely for my children. I am a person, in my own right.

FYI anyone can see everyones sats received & sent info on nostrdotband, its public so we all can see who the stingy peeps on nostr are lol. but if youre a dev your recieved has to be more than your sent

This isn't actually true because I send sats directly from my wallet and they don't have a zap-note attached and don't show up on band.

good info, i dont know how accurate it is either but i say its pretty accurate on my account

Mine is way off.

I also have multiple npubs, so not everything is listed under one.

Probably more accurate with smaller accounts that just shitpost, or something.

im not a b1tc01n3r btw, ill just give back what i get to devs or whoever

If you have sats, you're a bitcoiner. Might as well get used to the idea. :-)

But, yeah, some of us are swapping in Bitcoin into the Lightning system and spreading them on and off Nostr through zaps.

Someone has to do that, or there'd be no sats to zap.

And it's often people nobody has noticed and who aren't particularly wealthy. All those little people making little swaps adds up.

I guess we're zap-patrons.😊

#nostrocket enables that. You earn merits (a cut of the businesses income) by solving problems. Solving problems doesn't necessarily mean that you have to do work. Paying for something is just as much a solution of a problem as writing some code is. That payment = You buying equity in a decentralised FOSS project

Ah, interesting. Hadn't heard of it.
