My hope for AI is that it brings people back together in meat space.

You will not know if the people you talk to online are real so you will have to meet in person.

Banks will not be able to trust online KYC so it's back to having a local teller.

When what is online is clearly more AI generated than real then people will seek out genuine interactions with people offline.

My fear for AI is that people will not care if their AI friends are real. If AI discord bot buddies are more fun that your real friends maybe people retreat into a virtual world more than ever.
