When I was a kid, I hated reading because I found the books in school boring. If we want children to read, we should allow them to pursue their own curiosity.

That was by design. This is why we should homeschool.
It’s honestly remarkable how the last few generations got psyoped into believing that giving their children over to the State to be indoctrinated for 7 hours per day was optimal for childhood development
