my opinion: LN / echash and maybe Liquid wallet integrated into nostr clients (in a usable way, not NWC) would allow people to have both in their pocket, and zapping should be as easy as paying someone with WoS.
That's however, not the case, not at all... as we're even struggling to have a NIP05 verification process that is doable for 30% of the people.
let alone zapping.
(fun part: I can't zap from within my mobile nostr client, whatever I try, it all fails)
Alby hub is great to integrate with your Nostr client.
Never managed to get it set up properly.
How long ago? It changed a lot, for the better. Meaning Alby hub is simple and effective.

Captcha failed few times, the. I get through to the page to insert your email,the one time code never arrived (checked spam yes).
Always the same with Alby: looks nice and fluffy, but it's time consuming and even an simple email doesn't work.
Until they've fixed their onboarding this will never get anywhere
