This was the first time I moderated a panel on a larger bitcoin conference. Used to do this in the port world, really enjoy interviewing and moderating to increase content density.

More proof of work is necessary.

Bitcoin is time

GN, where are you hanging out?

For luring people into paid programs and bot trading funneling out their money?

What database do you prefer to use for your compressed future time expenditure storage?

Today during an important meeting, I brought up this specific article. Two pages in all major newspapers. One of the biggest scammers is back. Where we thought this guy was out of the picture. He gets a major podium in mainstream media. It’s as if scammers receive a perpetual podium, creating a centralized narrative.

The majority of the Dutch population consumes this garbage.

Is there any hope for the future, where we see non negative bitcoin narrative propaganda?

If you could pick your anti fishing words, what would be your personal favorite?

Everyone who cares about their privacy should run a full node. Great article about the options currently in use and development over time.

“Every Bitcoin wallet faces a fundamental technical challenge: how do you discover which transactions belong to your addresses without revealing those addresses to others?

The solution you choose determines your privacy.

Download everything and reveal nothing, or query servers and expose your financial history. There is no middle ground in the protocol design, only different points on the privacy-convenience spectrum.

Bitcoin's blockchain is public. Your addresses don't have to be.

Full Nodes: The Original Standard (2009)

When Satoshi launched Bitcoin in 2009, there was only one way to use it: run a full node. Download the entire blockchain, every transaction ever made. Your node asks for everything, reveals interest in nothing.

How it works: Download every block, validate every transaction, maintain the complete UTXO set (~11 GB). When checking your balance, scan the local database. When broadcasting transactions, relay through the P2P network alongside thousands of others.”

In the past few days I had my goodbye meeting at the Dutch central bank and the authority of financial markets. As the chairman representing the United bitcoin companies in the Netherlands. It’s been an interesting few years.

The totally refurbished building of the Dutch central bank is open for visitors and the amount of interesting things portrayed there is worthwhile for bitcoiners.

“Value of trust” “value of stability” “The value of art”

The first big public piece of the new head of the Dutch central bank is “don’t agree with Eurobonds”. (Link below). This piece might give a tiny bit of hope that further EU integration gets delayed.

There is a high focus on digital resilience in geopolitical uncertain times.

I’ve had naive hope I could change the legacy system.

At least we won lawsuits and were able to reduce the regulatory burden and many millions of cost by having a firm stance. Our lawyer was not allowed at the main board cost meeting anymore after I brought him along once ☺️.

The fight at the European court in Luxembourg will persist through the next chairman. It was great to see us win in the Rotterdam and Supreme Court in the Netherlands, with the Dutch central bank having an army of the best lawyers.

We were able to push an over 5 million cost relieve at AFM under MICAR oversight this year. And we’ve held really strong stances where we could.

It’s time to move on and leave this legacy system behind. We’ll have to build forward on new frontiers. The direction in the Netherlands is unfortunately, stifling innovation. On regulation they are clearly far ahead of any other location on our planet.

I’ve seen what’s coming and it’s going to be tough, but we will be able to use our bitcoin. That is, what matters.

Fun fact:

“Wall Street

“Wall Street

In 1653, the Dutch built a defensive wall against the English and native Indian tribes in what was then called New Amsterdam. The path with a wooden gate running alongside it was called Waal Street or Wal Street.

Even then, there was already a lot of trading going on there.”

GM

Coming to the EU soon:

“The reason for the revolt was the harsh and unfair taxes imposed by the royal power, which was seated in Denmark and used foreign tax collectors and civil servants to impose its will on the population.”

Enjoy! Was great meeting you last year

Green candle incoming

I find it really interesting, because when i was in Uni about a decade ago, Dutch dredgers started to mine gold under water. It wasn’t really spoken about but the market back then was already growing rapidly.

The new central bank vault in the Netherlands also has quite some additional space in comparison with the old vault.

Why is that?

Monetary reset.

Now I’m really wondering how many degens got liquidated borrowing against shitcoins 😂

Had an epic conversation yesterday evening before going to bed.

Woke up around 4.15 first answered my emails and DMs of BitcoinBrabant and did some workouts.

Than found out bitcoin was a a bit lower. Emptied all the bank accounts. Bought bitcoin.

Don’t do leverage. Work your ass off. Don’t leave bitcoin on an exchange. (All major US exchanges went offline during the trough).

If you want to vlog on nostr, how do you do it?

He’s safe, don’t worry. I know who had his phone 😂

This is where my wife and I grew up, where we used to live & work with the farmers for many years. Last year we decided to leave, it was a plethora of reasons.

Seeing this in our (ex)local newspaper today is shocking:

“Farmer is not allowed to milk his cows in the night anymore”

Time to say goodbye to ING bank. It was my last Dutch bank account. They don’t allow use of VPN to login to your bank account. Both the app and the website block VPNs.

I don’t agree:

This is a binomial probability problem. Each roll of a fair six-sided die is an independent trial with success probability \(p = \frac{1}{6}\) (rolling a 6) and failure probability \(1 - p = \frac{5}{6}\) (rolling anything else). We want the probability of exactly \(k = 5\) successes in \(n = 8\) trials.

The binomial probability formula is:

\[

P(X = k) = \binom{n}{k} p^k (1 - p)^{n - k}

\]

First, compute the binomial coefficient:

\[

\binom{8}{5} = \frac{8!}{5!(8-5)!} = \frac{8!}{5! \cdot 3!} = 56

\]

Substitute into the formula:

\[

P(X = 5) = 56 \left( \frac{1}{6} \right)^5 \left( \frac{5}{6} \right)^3 = 56 \cdot \frac{1^5 \cdot 5^3}{6^8} = 56 \cdot \frac{125}{1,679,616} = \frac{7,000}{1,679,616}

\]

Simplify the fraction by dividing numerator and denominator by their greatest common divisor (which is 8):

\[

\frac{7,000 \div 8}{1,679,616 \div 8} = \frac{875}{209,952}

\]

This fraction is in lowest terms. As a decimal approximation, this is about 0.00417 (or 0.417%).

Today I talked a while with an owner of an antique shop. There’s almost zero interest in decent antique furniture. Massive oak remains unsold, while it lasts hundreds of years.

People are buying as cheap as possible. He is shifting more and more towards small “antique” bracelets, rings and other junk that they usually just receive for free when they clear houses.

This couple of euros junk just sells.

He also had a couple pairs of shoes of old brands, they last a lifetime, they are basically new but “old fashioned”.

I asked him how old he thought my shoes were. Couple years he answered but still looking good, easily fixable, old fashioned way.

Told him, 3 new soles, 1 new inner work. 21 years old. Wore them couple of times each month…

He said the best pairs should last 40 years wearing them weekly. You can still find a few manufacturers in Europe…

Low time preference shifting to high preference in the antique market was not something I was expecting to see.

Fun part, the fridge he had reminded me of nostr:nprofile1qqsy8w40ps5wdna3jkchacyrux0t8f90m7k9fkdkhtchqfcw6xf7xnqpz3mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduq3wamnwvaz7tmrwfjkzarj9ehx7um5wgh8w6twv5da7tvd 😂

Is development ~100x in speed nowadays?

Know quite some devs, that told me things like:

“I now do the work of 100+ people by myself”

“I can now build things I never thought I was capable of”

“If I have an idea I have it working in a few clicks, used to take me a month”

Is this really true? Are we scaling development 100x now because of use of AI?

Not for attention — but for alignment.

Not to provoke — but to reveal.

I didn’t come to clap for corporate alchemists leveraging fiat debt to hoard Bitcoin.

I came to remind the room that **Bitcoin wasn’t made for the kings**.

It was made for us — the pawns who move.

### ♟️ *Real Life Chess*

Some would say my life is a mess,

But they don’t know,

that I’m playing chess.

And although freedom is nice,

It doesn’t come,

without sacrifice.

My opening move,

Is finding the groove,

Then I developed the skills,

That gives tyrants the chills.

Satoshi’s my guide,

While I move like a knight,

Dodging the banksters in black,

While I plan my attack.

Pawn checks King,

Then rook takes pawn,

Another wise rabbit appears at the spawn.

As kings, queens and bishops fight for the center of attention,

One pawn has come through,

with a genius invention,

That changes the structure of the current convention,

And propels us forward into another dimension.

This invention transformed the board from Chess into Go.

Please enter the realm of the eternal flow.

Now hierarchies crumble,

And as I watch the cunts

of the black army stumble,

I look for the signal within all the scrumble,

the eternal pulse says:

**"Stack sats and stay humble."**

With the endgame in sight,

we switch black to white.

We follow the light,

We trust our might.

Then we meet our queen,

Feel suddenly seen,

And gracefully live,

in the between.

It might be Go it might be Chess,

But one thing is certain,

**It’s a beautiful mess.**

---

This poem isn’t just a metaphor.

It’s a **roadmap** for the pleb who chooses dignity over dependence.

It’s a mirror held up to a Bitcoin culture that’s forgetting its roots in favor of Wall Street cosplay and applause for Cantillonaires.

Because let’s call it what it is:

Debt-financed Bitcoin buys are **Proof-of-Stake in fiat**.

They are not heroic. They are opportunistic.

They are not revolution. They are reallocation — from the center of power, using the tools of that power.

But #Bitcoin doesn’t belong to boardrooms.

It belongs to the builders, the miners, the teachers, the sovereign individuals, the ones who gave something up to *earn* something real.

It belongs to those who make *the move*.

---

### ✊ So here’s the move:

🛠️ Build outside the gatekeepers. nostr:npub1s0veng2gvfwr62acrxhnqexq76sj6ldg3a5t935jy8e6w3shr5vsnwrmq5

🚫 Refuse applause for fiat leverage.

📣 Disrupt the narrative.

🎯 Use non-violent direct action to **check power**, wherever it hides.

🧠 Stay sharp. Stay sovereign.

⚒️ Stack work. Not just sats.

Because the endgame isn’t a new pig on a throne.

The endgame is *you*, awake and aware,

transforming from pawn to queen,

and *watching the kings fall* — not through violence, but by **moving better**.

---

Bitcoin doesn’t need another billionaire.

It needs a billion plebs playing with intention,

moving through sacrifice,

flowing through the mess,

and building the future from the ground up.

We’re not here to crown a king.

We’re here to **flip the board**.

Is there an easy explainer / tutorial, because this would be the only application that is capable of a watch only taproot. It’s interesting for every signing device/hardware wallet. Especially in combination with lightning setups when helping people through self custody.

Watch only taproot wallet for mobile. Any tips?

As a trance lover having built a huge radio receiver to be able to receive XFM radio from Eindhoven with high quality as a kid, going to a big trance festival when being very much underage but making sure i got some 18 year + friends to go along and arrange free tickets winning the radio quiz. This track has a couple of mix parts that remind me of the xfm music festival in the klok gebouw Eindhoven. Rank 1, Marco v and so many others were there. For a kid it was amazing. I had a Bose installation 4.1 with direct connection to my ISDN double line modem downloading from Napster and later Limewire and Kazaa.

Turning 18 I build my own sound system in my Volkswagen Golf. It was an 11.1 system with 500watt RMS self build subwoofer and self designed casing. JBL 1100 and Sony / JBL speaker combination for optimal sound. Extra battery with capacitor for peaks. It was so much fun being a kid and working my ass off to be able to enjoy the sound. When I upgraded a speaker or tuned it I would put my dad in the car and put on enya, being proud to have tuned it on an even better level.
