EU wants to invest. Let’s invest in open source software. It benefits and defends the people to totalitarian overreach. Also it shows to give the biggest advantage to society and productive outcome of people in general. The only way to compete with large centralized proprietary systems is to fund open source alternatives. EU should lead and open up the arms race. Not only on digital finance being bitcoin but also on artificial intelligence.

This Harvard review last year clearly shows there is no better return of investment than open source. And as all we are talking about are public investments, with public money, the code should be owned by the public. Every government funded software program and ā€œcloud solutionā€ when made open source will have the best security and will be hundreds times cheaper than what is being run currently on US ā€œserversā€.

Chongqing is amazing. The guy I traveled through China with was a banker in China for quite some years, he turned bitcoiner… The amazing thing was we travelled through multiple cities and nature we wanted to visit. He speaks Chinese, so everything we did was exceptional. Traveling through countries with someone who’s fluent in the language and has some kind of excess energy like me has been awesome. I’ve done this in Iran, China, Indonesia, Egypt and many other countries. Enjoy meeting people, enjoy culture, enjoy our planet. Bitcoin will make us all cooperate. We will get there, we should keep on delivering proof of work to get there ASAP.

RECALL 🚨 ā€¼ļø LEICKE ADAPTERS for bitaxe gamma. Over the past 1+ year we have sold and used Leicke adapters without an issue and they have proven to be great with the Supra, having an amazing track record. In the past weeks we’ve seen more and more burned U3 chips on the gammas. Always with the 6A 30W 5V adapters by Leicke. Never with our own manufactured bitaxe branded ones.

In general after months of proper operation the client updates the firmware or repowers the bitaxe. Or sees that the bitaxe has stopped hashing. After plugging the adapter back in the U3 chips burns. This in general happens after many weeks/months of operation.

Since we’ve seen more and more of these issues we’re recalling all of our hundreds of adapters to replace it with our own production ones, that have not seen any problems.

Now the difficulty adjustment is here for us, we delete all client data after shipment. So please spread this message if you know people who ordered a gamma with us and have them do the following.

Check if you have a Leicke 30W 6A 5V adapter (other Leicke adapters are perfectly fine for more than a year, so don’t worry about them). If so go to our website and use the contact form.

Send us your order number, e-mailadres you want us to use for your shipment and the shipping address. We will delete the email coming through the contact form directly after shipment.

We hope to be able to keep as much hash as possible online through this recall. Very sorry but after many discussions we were always sure the Leicke was the best product before we produced our owns. Now it became clear after long term running its not the best for the job. We’re sorry we failed there and will keep improving. This will cost us a lot, as we’ve shipped hundreds of these adapters… hope we are here to see a long lasting relationship with our clients.

Approximate loss until now:

€8000,- (burned bitaxes and adapters to be replaced)

Expected total loss:

~€15.000,- (all adapters to be replaced)

Potential loss if not recalled:

€60.000,-, hundreds of unhappy customers and potential bankruptcy as there is basically no margin in this business, would be the nail in the coffin.

What do you mean with explaining what bitcoin is? Bitcoin is so many different things. In this case we focus on securing your bitcoin.

It’s very hard to convince people to start mining bitcoin if they don’t value bitcoin. Mining with just solar without having need for heat doesn’t make much sense if there is no battery already in place. Because the operation would just run a few hours a day, not interesting financially in the Netherlands.

In the upcoming months we will see major step changes in Europe. The war bonds are now here, but it’s not just the war bonds. The announcements I’ve been hearing in meetings with top officials are bothering me a lot. EU uniformity is forced down everyone’s throats, nobody is going to be able to stop it anymore I believe.

This will have major impact on

- freedom of speech

- freedom to transact

- freedom to move

Within the next few years a wall will be built so fast most people didn’t understand it was not for keeping the bad guys out, but to keep you inside.

Some comments over the past months from top officials:

ā€œIt would be much easier to have a shock that triggers the ECB to become powerful like the FEDā€

ā€œOur meetings in Brussels have concluded that you’ll see a lot of change coming to your industries shortlyā€

ā€œIt should become a standard for money transmitters to ask questions about money flows, if you have nothing to hide you can answer every question about a transfer. The facilitator of a transaction should want to know about it and it should be normalized that questions about transactions are asked to every individualā€

The strange thing about this all is. Bitcoin will become an ever larger life saver on so many fronts when I see what is approaching us. Overregulation, overtaxation and even worse. Taking freedom away in every possible way will only strengthen the use of bitcoin for people longing for freedom and sovereignty. The adoption with increased inflation and ever more restrictive transfer of the euro will make the orange light shine brighter by the day.

You can kill the man, but you can’t kill the idea. GN

Sparrow has been used a lot in the land of the Noderunners. Without sparrow the setups would not be as great! The proof of work done by nostr:nprofile1qqstu7jjjx6n969erredexq539y2x0f7pks80zxhg9hh8dx8298s3espr3mhxue69uhkummnw3ez6un9d3shjtnhd3m8xtnnwpskxegpz3mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduy0f2ka is amazing. My favorite interview until now is the one in South Africa last year with adopting bitcoin. https://youtu.be/eL2eOaIP-W4

It is indeed that true free living through bitcoin is currently not really touched upon yet. When the bitcoin economy, (meaning the real physical economy of exchanging bitcoin for goods and services without touching fiat) grows, next generations might be native to this system, where there are still different systems in existence. It’ll be like consciously knowing you’re progressing freedom vs painfully needing to do things with fiat still. Future generations will be much more aware of this. A theft based vs a merit based system.

Not your keys, not your coins.

We’ll all become a legend, but only after hyperbitcoinization. So let’s work our ass off.

When the oculus came out we bought two Alienware heaviest laptops we could find and build the entire port of Rotterdam up from our emulations. We brought it to the largest port conference on the planet and were the first to literally have CEO’s of the largest shipping companies fall of their chair. For many it was the first time experiencing virtual reality. The interview below with Palmer around 1:08 where he shows about what was being possible reminds me of the moment in the evening I was watching a hardwell video on YouTube where I could look around. It was the first time YouTube made it available and we directly dropped our specific build for oculus on YouTube. Looking back I loved our team in Delft simulating, emulating and building all the software for the container ports. It was not just running the robots, but the human aspect was immense too… Bitcoin is more important though šŸ˜‚ fix the money, fix the world.

Now do the Dutch NGOs. We’re going to see so much once that is dug up. Currently the previous head of the Dutch CIA is the prime minister. Curious for how long… once he is out and the regime changes we might see so much dirt you have no idea. The Dutch guy that killed / postponed the nuclear program in Iran was killed a few years ago. Many US Programs run through the Netherlands. A lot of fireworks expected in the next few years.

The best locations on our planet will be the locations where there is a significant understanding of bitcoin. These locations will be a high proof of work, high educational and atomic family focused communities. Most bitcoiners are searching for truth and take time for proper food, proper building, long term thinking in general. Because currently settlement is still costly and uncertain, I feel most bitcoiners are not going all in on a location. I believe we do need to concentrate on specific locations to make bitcoin in combination with our families prosper. I’m curious what you think these locations are going to be. If you think roaming / nomadic lifestyle will be the future we still need the locations to nomad through. Proper low time preference livings that can be lived in for longer periods will then be critical. A Hapimag style of ownership and ā€œrentā€ would then become interesting. Hapimag is a Swiss shareholder owned resort ā€œcompanyā€. The setup should be improved a bit and building at prime locations across the globe for more permanent living would be welcomed by a lot of bitcoiners. It would be our citadel mesh network owned and operated by bitcoiners. Where also your shares hold value due to ownership of worldwide real estate. The way you can use the points you build up or buy has been really great over the past decades. I believe a framework like Hapimag but very much improved for long term stay is something a lot of bitcoiners would be interested in.

People are starting to understand the necessity of bitcoin. Prices are rising rapidly, they understand their euro is failing. They want to have a cash alternative. Number of bitcoiners going up.

GM if your wife doesn’t cut the toothpaste tubes to keep on going for another week, you’re not stacking hard enough.

Seeing the FED speech while knowing how operation choke point also found its way to the Netherlands last year is surreal.

Finally received the first batch of the Dutch translation of nostr:npub1art8cs66ffvnqns5zs5qa9fwlctmusj5lj38j94lv0ulw0j54wjqhpm0w5 ā€œhet genesisboekā€ it’s only 25 pieces because these days most of the books are delivered directly from the central warehouse in Germany. This book is a must read for every Dutch person. It should be used in schools as a combination of history, computer science and economics. This is a book where, after you read it, you will think twice to criticize bitcoin. Normally we would post this from our nostr:npub1qvwdl9rp7a5ghrxv57wnml5ehg2whjh708vys6kaxpkgu0z3aclsuy2h4p account, but this one is personal… Het Genesisboek (Nederlands) https://bitcoinbrabant.com/product/het-genesisboek/

We’ve done a lot of work over the past months. We wanted to start this year with proper sovereign solutions. A node and bitaxe specials, finally live…
