4/ over 30 terabytes of data to review—more than the Library of Congress, or stacked paper reaching the moon 25 times. This unprecedented burden makes funding critical to build the best defense.

5/ ⚖️These funds will help ensure the Samourai devs can mount the best possible defense against this unjust prosecution. The stakes in the Samurai case go beyond individual developers—they could affect every Bitcoiner, from node runners to wallet users to devs.

6/ 🛡️ keonne and SamouraiDev are being prosecuted in the US for building open-source privacy tools. If these charges succeed, the precedent could jeopardize node operators, Lightning routing nodes, wallet developers, and Bitcoin’s core values worldwide.
