Electrum

Not available for IOS users. Which is a large part of the customer base…

I was about to suggest nostr:nprofile1qqsrf5h4ya83jk8u6t9jgc76h6kalz3plp9vusjpm2ygqgalqhxgp9gpzfmhxue69uhk7enxvd5xz6tw9ec82cspp4mhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mqpzpmhxue69uhkummnw3ezumrpdejqd2970s as they mention Taproot support, but it turns out you cannot have a watch-only on-chain wallet. Maybe in a future version.

I'm pretty sure Green wallet should support that but didn't try myself.

You can have an on-chain watch-only Taproot wallet in ZEUS as long as you’re using LND.

The only requirement is that your provide the extended public keys (eg. xpub/ypub etc) and not just a singular address

Amazing. So I must connect to an LND node? Or use the internal LND node?

Either works!

Though to see past events you’ll want to use the embedded node. Should have no problems using a remote node and a fresh xpub

Is there an easy explainer / tutorial, because this would be the only application that is capable of a watch only taproot. It’s interesting for every signing device/hardware wallet. Especially in combination with lightning setups when helping people through self custody.

“Here is your balance and here you can use the cash payment layer of bitcoin”…

Tried, it doesn’t

So Zeus is your best option then, but it's next to a LND wallet (which you csn leave empty).
