Is it just me, or is there at least a whiff of SBF in Saylor's MSTR strategy?

could be a whiff or a wrapped whiff.

The wrapped bitcoin shit was just too weird to dismiss

It was still an indirect bitcoin purchase even tho wrapped.

I.e bitcoin was purchased to hold the wrapped tokens

I don’t consider something that shows up on etherscan as Bitcoin. It’s unnecessary to buy it indirectly and for him to call it Bitcoin seems weird.

Ok fair.

Would you have been ok with it if he bought $mstr?

I always look to the incentives.

The guy is getting to that age where he's thinking about his legacy.

He has a fiscal responsibilty to his shareholders that he doesn't take lightly.

Most of his personal wealth is now in Bitcoin & MSTR.

Does he have a few blind spots? Sure, we all have our biases.

I think he's convinced that the USD can survive alongside Bitcoin. That both can somehow coexist harmoniously.

SBF was a total fraud & theif. Saylor has surprised the market by doing exactly what he said he'd do. They're diametrically different people in almost every aspect.

I trust Bitcoin's incentives & own no MSTR.

I said "whiff" not taste.

It's smells more like GBTC to me.
