My node is providing them a service by saving a copy of all transactions in a public viewable ledger, so if anyone is laundering money or did something unlawful they can be traced and hold accountable.

May be I am missing some thing ..what do you mean by validators in Bitcoin world? .. isn't that's how proof of stake shitcoins work ? Bitcoin transactions are finalized by miners ..
Miners on the other hand pay through the nose to keep the network running .. and the no one controls which miner would get the honours .. it's pure mathematical chance ..

But Bitcoin transactions are validated by Nodes, not miners. Nodes can deny transactions to miners which are out of consensus rules
But they will come for Bitcoin Node too.
One main difference is Validators in Shitcoin world earn money through validating transactions, Bitcoin Node runners don’t earn anything by validating transactions.
