Choosing Control as a the main modifier key on Windows and Linux was a mistake.
The key is too far on the side so Ctrl+C/V is uncomfortable, and trying to Ctrl+T is terribly un-ergonomical.
Mac got this right.

Mac is a trap
I don't disagree, or use either of those OS, but vim-mode fixes this. Copy is yw and paste is p
But having a smaller keyboard (or bigger hands) probably fixes this too.
It's a closed source OS controlled by a government tech proxy. They will suck your john if they had to, all in order to feed their data beast instead of using freedom tech.
