Are you on a test version?
If you don’t have a lighting wallet you’ll need on first. I’ll suggest wallet of Satoshi as it’s the easiest.
Second you need to get your lighting address linked to damus.
You get your address from WOS and save it in your profile on damus.
Now you need to make sure to have the shortcuts app installed on your phone it’s an apple app.
After that go to
https://www.zapr.social/#/install
And follow the instructions.
If everything is set up right you should be able to zap now.

I followed your instruction. After copying the nite ID I went to settings tap accessibility -touch I choose double tap then choose always allow 
Sorry disregard the other message there seems to be an issue with zapr at the moment.
It does happen from time to time.
But it should start working again.
Apologize for the inconvenience caused by this but unfortunately it’s out of my control.
So it appears that about 50% of random things I’ve tried to zap give me an error currently?
Might be an issue with wos?

You also need to put your lightning address (if you have one) in your profile. Edit your profile and put your lightning address where appropriate (sorry we're not familiar with Damus).

I have downloaded this then I was instructed to download Damus Beta. Is this the same as DAMUS. What is the difference. I did not proceed to download bec I am afraid they the same and might lost my current comm.
Well, they are the same app just different versions. And you can only have one installed at a time.
The beta version (1st screenshot) has more experimental features. It also has the ability to zap notes like this.
The App Store version (2nd screenshot) only has the ability to zap profiles if I’m not mistaken. This is a restriction imposed by Apple.
If you want to switch, make sure you have your nsec copied (i.e. backed up) before doing so.

How to back up damus? I want to download damus beta as per your guidelines.
In order to get your nsec (aka “Secret Account Login Key”):
1. Go to your settings and tap “Keys”
2. Save your key wherever you feel is secure (e.g. a password manager like BitWarden)
Your nsec is basically your password that will let you log back into your account whenever you need to.
Like I mentioned earlier, you might not need to do anything. Just install the beta version and it should transition seamlessly. But better to be safe than sorry. 🤙
