You should of charged a couple of Satoshi to simply connect to your relay. That would of kept all the scammers and bots away and your relay would of never filled up.

It filled up because there is too many freeloaders ruining your relay which affect the legit people.

no the point of the damus relay is that its open to anyone. We already have rate limiting which stops it from filling up too fast

That's not acceptable. I saw tons of spam in your relay. It's always the free relays that are the problem.
