After 3 days you've mostly kicked the physical withdrawals.

Then you're just battling with your mind as it finds ways to justify why smoking (just one more) is a good idea. This betrayal of the mind is not insignificant & it feels harder than the physical cravings.

I'd suggest putting your body through some endorphin creating pain to get you through those periods. Do some sit-ups, pull-ups or push-ups (lots of ups). It tells your body (specifically your mind) that you are in control & that you know what's best for it's long term survival. The hardest part of not smoking is that inaction (not doing) so you may find it helpful to add some action in.

Caffeine withdrawals definitely bring on headaches.
