I’m not either but I’d bet heavily on no because current infrastructure could not handle that volume of traffic
If he puts together robust relays,l and streamlines the process of them coming pre installed on the client, is that the hiccup or are there other things to facilitate the faster flow of information?
The problem is he cannot manage nor provide the relays. Relay operators should probably be voluntary and/or profit seeking individuals or independent entities to maintain the benefits of decentralization.
Maybe he could provide a no-strings-attached bounty for the first few thousand relay operators per country
A sufficiently motivated and resourced company could build the world's greatest decentralized social network.
But the product doesn't make enough money to cover such an enormous firm's costs.
So small groups of principled devs and startups are our only hope.
