Would be nice to see more clients competing. Maybe even some that might offer so much that a person would pay to buy/use it.

I’m a Knots maxi, but I’d also love to see other client implementations within the consensus rules, because I know Knots isn’t immune to what’s happening with Core right now. Switching between implementations should be as frictionless and easy as switching mining pools. Client decentralisation is just as important as mining decentralisation. The latter has become obvious in light of recent events.
It takes a civil war to split a country in two. The fight we have now might lead to client splits.
